F.R.S. 1956 (Electric Guitar)

Description: Anduin Vaid is a world-renowned artist and illustrator. His pieces have been featured in galleries/shows in New York, Washington D.C., Arlington (VA), Roanoke (VA), and London (UK).
Each of his pieces comes with: a hand-signed artist%u2019s statement, a hand-signed two-page biography of Anduin Vaid, the hand-signed individual piece history/statement (different for every piece%u2013it is provided below) and the hand-signed Boundless Gallery Certificate of Authenticity. Pieces over $2000 come with an additional custom-made and notarized Certificate of Authenticity along with insurance information.
F.R.S. 1956 stands for the model of guitar to which this illustration is modeled after: a 1956 Fender Reliced Stratocaster. It is life-size, and the two-dimensional texture has been created with the intent of mapping the darkness and lightness of colors/materials on the guitar. The guitar, owned and played by the artist%u2019s brother, was painstakingly recreated through the unique black and white detailed style. This piece, being the first of its type, is much more prototypical in nature then those pieces that follow it with slight imperfections such as an upward bending fretboard and slightly misplaced frets that make the composition all the more rare and engrained with humanity.
F.R.S. 1956, is from the artist%u2019s personal reserve of works, and was put into storage in his humidity-controlled cedar-lined studio immediately after completion. Shortly thereafter it was sent to a recording studio in downtown Arlington, VA, and unfortunately due to the studio%u2019s close, it was returned to the artist.
